Operations Director - full job description
Location: Jackson, MI
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Ensure the performance, integrity and security of the agency database. Gather, organize and prepare data for grant reporting. Coordinate and supervise continuous quality improvement. Provide implementation and oversight for the durable medical equipment program, Fix-dis, Residential Ramp program and assigned staff. Perform internal financial check activities. Assist with fundraising activities. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication as well as good computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education and training required: Prefer Bachelor’s degree. Personal experience with disability and/or knowledge of disability issues and the consumer/community-based independent living philosophy preferred. Must also possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills and computer skills. Must be analytical and detail oriented. Work experience required: Experience with management, leadership and organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple tasks, prioritize work effectively and use judgment and discretion in decision-making. Must have experience with database management and reporting. Must have a commitment to and ability for continuous improvement and mastery of the relevant body of knowledge related to this position. Familiarity with durable medical equipment and familiarity with Jackson, Hillsdale and Lenawee County community resources preferred.

Services Director - full job description
Location: Jackson, MI
GENERAL SUMMARY
Manage the delivery and coordination of all services for disability Connections including CORE, gap, and contractual/fee for services. Direct and supervise service staff for quality assurance and data entry protocol. Maintain knowledge of current I&R resources. Provide in-depth information, referral and resource assistance to people with disabilities, their families and/or other agencies. Network, build and develop effective collaborative and working relationships with other organizations and agencies. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication as well as good computer skills.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Education and Training Required: Bachelor’s Degree required in human services and/or social work-related field of study. Personal experience with disability and/or knowledge of disability issues and the consumer/community-based IL philosophy. Three years in project or services management with three years experience in supervision. Must possess excellent communication skills and computer and word processing skills. Must be detailed oriented.
2. Must have the ability to relate effectively with a wide variety of people, including coworkers, customers, volunteers, and agency representatives.

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Outreach Director, assure customers entering/calling disAbility Connections are handled professionally and efficiently. Determine customer needs, answer questions and directing to internal/external resources. Excellent customer service and welcoming atmosphere is maintained in the reception area. $15/hour.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
1. Education and Training Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Associate degree in office related area or equivalent is necessary. Must have accurate typing and computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database programs.
2. Work Experience Required: Experience working in reception or customer service is required. Experience working directly with individuals with disabilities is preferred. Personal experience with disability and/or knowledge of disability issues and the consumer/community-based IL philosophy is preferred. Must have an ability to relate effectively with a wide variety of people, including coworkers, customers, volunteers and agency representatives.
